Earthquake Insurance Information

Protecting your family’s most valuable asset from a damaging earthquake requires the purchase of earthquake insurance.  At our agency we offer both stand-alone earthquake policies and earthquake insurance as part of a homeowners package.  We offer the most competitive earthquake insurance products in the industry from a choice of different insurance companies.  We help you choose the product that best fits your needs.

Earthquakes, like floods, are typically not covered by Homeowners Insurance. Therefore, consideration should be made toward the investment in an Earthquake policy to protect your largest investment.

Generally, earthquake protection is purchased under two different types of policies:

  1. Comprehensive Single Limit policy can be used to pay all, one, or a combination of the various types of coverage listed below:

Your single limits coverage can also be used for these coverages up to their limit:

    $3000 swimming pools
    $3000 fences
    $3000 retaining walls
    $3000 detached walkways, patios
    $3000 paintings, antiques

Deductible : 15% of Single Limit

  2. Standard Policy provides a single limit of earthquake coverage for your dwelling only plus additional coverage up to the special limits on the following:
    $5000 personal property
$1500 loss of use/fair rental value
    5% engineering & demolition costs
